Dear AMD,
First I don't know Deutch and I registered here just because I have these question(s) for long time
1- AMD always proved to be powerfull when talking about pure GFlops power for thier GPU's, but in another hand we tend to see nVIDIA do better and better in GPGPU applications... like folding and some video encoding applications... is it because optimization ? or the way these software use the power of GPU ?
2- AMD ( ATi to be exact ) was the first to promote GPU powered computing, starting with
Folding@home project, but looking at the current situation AMD doesn't do that much in this project, any High-end GPU from AMD ( like HD 4870 or the new HD 4890 ) doesn't even touch some midrange GPU's from the compitetors... will AMD do something regarding this ?
3- OpenCL 1.0 specifications are out for some time now, and I know that you will add support for OpenCL in your drivers soon in this half of the year ( 1H ), at least in standalone package even thought I hope it to be included like how Stream is, but I wonder when exactly, or at least to release some open Beta program for OpenCL applications so we can see something active and developers start working on...
4- OpenCL will be mature enough after some time, what will happen to Stream by that time ?
5- How AMD willadd OpenCL support to thier drivers? will it be throught Stream or it will be native ?, nVIDIA for example said they will support OpenCL but throught CUDA and not nativley...
6- Havok acceleration using OpenCL, you presented this some time ago, but we never saw the AMD demo video, only saw Havok demo !!
7- When can we expect to see final Havok-OpenCL support ?
Sorry for these too many questions
