Wie wir vor einigen Tagen berichteten, untersucht die EU und anderen internationale Marktüberwacher den Missbrauch der Marktmacht seitens Intel durch Exklusivverträge.

Jetzt hat sich der Geschäftsführer Hector Ruiz von AMD zu den Vorwürfen geäußert:

"Intel continues... to abuse their monopoly and that's why around the world governments and regulatory agencies continue to go after them."

Außerdem beschreibt Ruiz die Situation, dass Intel noch keine wirkliche ausschlaggebende Technologie entwickelt hat:

"If you look at the last five years, if you look at what major innovations have occurred in computing technology, every single one of them came from AMD. Not a single innovation came from Intel. So I would say that Intel is trying to catch up with us in that respect."

As we reported some days ago, the EU and other international Marktüberwacher investigates the abuse of the market power on the part of Intel by exclusive contracts.

Now the manager Hector Ruiz von AMD has expressed himself to the reproaches:
