Die Webseite cnet.com bekam Informationen über AMDs Kuma Prozessor. Demnach will AMD den Kuma nicht stoppen. AMD-Sprecher Jake Whitman sagte zudem, dass der Kuma nicht undbedingt etwas mit dem Phenom zu tun hat.

Einen Dual-Core Phenom gab es auf keiner Roadmap. Der Kuma wird wie geplant in 65nm produziert. Nicht sicher ist, ob der Kuma nun ein K10 Dual-Core ist, oder ein Verwandter der Mobil-CPU Griffin, welcher einen Hybrid aus K10 und K8 darstellt.
Die Hybrid-Variante wäre sehr interessant, da es AMD so möglich wäre aus einer größeren Anzahl an Prozessoren zu selektieren und so auch Mobil CPUs mit weniger Leistungsaufnahme anbieten könnte.

The Kuma will produced in 65nm. Not shure is the question: Is it a K10 Dual-Core, or a sister of the mobile cpu Griffin (a K10 and K8 hybrid). The hybrid version is great, because of AMD can select from a bigger pool of processores, so on for mobile cpus wich need less power.
